Although it’s limited to iOS apps since that’s the only device I’ve had direct experience with, I just finished a blog post sharing some of the best free and pay apps related to space that I’ve run across thus far.

I just got an Android and have downloaded a few Space Apps (but should try some above).

I use Google Sky Map as well, but I haven’t yet seen L-Clock mentioned as a Mission Clock type app on the Android platform. It’s not as good, but it’s free!

Another really cool one from my perspective is GPS Status, which is like a airplane avionics package in your pocket (just in case you get lost and need to know your phone’s pitch and roll).

I intend to try and develop an app to use to easily launch your phone into near-space. I’ll tell you when that’s finished.
